This breezy, beach-friendly sound carries a similar ethos to the smooth grooves of 70s Yacht Rock — think Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, and the Doobie Brothers—where polished production and feel-good rhythms celebrated an aspirational lifestyle of leisure, love, and the open sea.
